The BAPSC and its members recognise the importance of CSR.

CSR is an inherent aspect of the provision of security especially with regard to human rights and the role of communities in post conflict reconstruction. Understanding the need to balance the provision of security services with the legitimate concerns of those affected by the delivery of those services is core to the aims and values of the Association and its members.

This aspect of the work of PSCs is often unrealised or overlooked. Members of the BAPSC take their CSR responsibilities seriously and engage in a number and variety of projects and initiatives. This part of our site will give an insight to their work in this field and how they coordinate their efforts with other organisations.

CSR will be one of the core issues addressed at the BAPSC first annual conference in October.

Aware that there is a need for internationally recognised standards of governance for the international operations of PSCs, BAPSC is working to ensure best practice in the standards of operation of its members
